Meet Pastor Bill
Pastor Bill Russell is the lead pastor of Harvest City Church, a church plant, located in Greensboro, NC. He was born and raised in Long Island, New York to his parents Joyce and Bill Russel Sr. Pastor Bill is the youngest of his siblings.
Pastor Bill from a young age had a heart to help others which lead him to pursue a career in social work. In 2012, Pastor Bill graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from North Carolina A&T State University. In 2014, Pastor Bill pursued a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, and graduated in 2015. He is currently studying at Duke University for a Master's of Divinity with a concentration in preaching and Black Church Studies.
Pastor Bill started preaching at the age of 13. In 2013, he became the College Pastor of a multicultural church and served for three years. Pastor Bill- a passionate leader, dynamic teacher, powerful preacher, and an anointed visionary—was called to plant Harvest City in 2016. Pastor Bill has a heart for God, people, and the city.
